Seefar is a social enterprise, which means we use the flexibility, speed and entrepreneurialism of a corporate structure to help vulnerable people build a better future.
This means that Seefar reinvests our working capital into projects and initiatives to improve the lives of the most vulnerable. Our program for migration, displaced people, human trafficking and modern slavery is currently developing initiatives to address some of the biggest challenges for beneficiaries in this space. Challenges like preventing modern slavery and human trafficking, providing livelihoods and thereby eliminating the need for migrant smuggling. We call the development of these initiatives our Skunk Works.
The designation Skunk Works is widely used in business, engineering, and technical fields to describe the development of potentially transformational initiatives within an organisation. The teams are given a high degree of autonomy and are unhampered by bureaucracy – enabling innovation and entrepreneurialism to flourish.
Seefar is planning on launching and piloting several of these initiatives later this year. You can request to be notified when they are ready for launch, just get in touch to find out what we’re working o
